No. Both tools run in your browser and work signed out. An account is free, takes an email address, keeps what you make and lifts the daily limit.

You give your email address and I send you a link. It works once and expires in 15 minutes. There is no password anywhere in Sonlit.

Three creations in 24 hours without an account, and no daily limit with one. It is free either way.

Check your spam folder, then ask for another from the account page. A sign-up link lasts 48 hours and a sign-in link 15 minutes; each one works once.

You have to be 16 or older to create an account. The tools themselves have no sign-in and no age gate.

Your email address, the date you created the account, the date you last signed in, and the creations you choose to save. An account holds 25 MB across 30 creations. No password, no name, no phone number, no tracking profile.

That an account event happened — a sign-up, a sign-in link, a deletion — with the time, a hashed fragment of the connection and your address partly masked (ad***@example.com). It holds no raw IP address and no readable address, and it is the one thing the delete button does not reach.

The button is on the account page. It removes the account, its creations and any live sign-in link immediately, with no cooling-off period and no reactivation. You can also erase everything without signing in, from the privacy page on keocodes.com.

That is the plan: sign in with the same address and the same creations open. The app will still work fully without one.

Not yet. Lock Sound is the one being built first, then the light show player, then the editor. The Lock Sound and Light Show pages each say where that build stands.

No date. Each tool goes live when it works on a real car, and its page changes the day it does.

No. Streaming tracks are protected and a browser cannot open them. You need a file you hold outright: a purchased download, a recording of your own, a voice memo.

No. It is an independent project by Derrick Keo and names Tesla only to describe what the tools are compatible with. Where every Tesla fact on this site came from is on the credits page.

No. Both tools decode, trim and export in your browser. A file only reaches my server if you press save to my account, email me a copy or send to my phone. None of those exist yet.

24 hours, then it is deleted — none of those send options are built yet. A creation saved to an account stays while the account does.

They go with it, immediately. Copies you already downloaded to your own drive are yours and are not touched, and anything I emailed you is in your inbox, outside my reach.

Tesla never says outright. Its Boombox documentation says a drive holding custom sounds cannot be shared with Dashcam, and its light show documentation says a light show drive must not contain a top-level TeslaCam folder. Owners report combined and partitioned drives working; my advice is the boring one, which is to use a separate cheap stick and leave the Dashcam drive alone.
